Welcome Brenda!

SAWCC welcomes our new Office and PR Manager - Brenda Dean!
Brenda graduated from Texas State University in 2003 with a BA in Mass Communications (focus on advertising) and a minor in business. She later moved with her now husband, Ryan, to San Antonio in 2003 and began working for the UT Health and Science Center.

In 2005 Brenda embarked upon the opportunity to work for the Rivercenter Mall. She worked her way up to later become the Director of Marketing. In this role she was responsible for independently handling all marketing (with the aid of an outside ad agency), in addition to coordinating tenant meetings, entertainment and spokesperson for events.

Brenda"s favorite role is being a mother to her 3 year old daughter, Genevieve, with whom she enjoys spending time with when she is not working part time for the Women"s Chamber.

January Business Networking Mixer
San Antonio Women"s Chamber of Commerce Networking Mixer - "New Year, NEW YOU!", was held on the evening of Thursday, January 28th, at the Old San Francisco Steakhouse. The turn-out for the event was exceptional, with well over 100 members and guests in attendance, despite the inclement weather. Even the local judiciary was represented, with Judge Michael E. Mery, Bexar County Court #12, stopping in briefly. Read more...
